I went for a walk up the Deri mountain (really just a large hill!) with a couple of friends, March 2014. I took this photo:
When I got home I was inspired to write this Haiku poem about this scene:
Electronic lens darkens
Serendipitous
Silhouette of trees
On the same walk I saw crows gliding on the thermals in the blue sky. I was amazed when they suddenly brought in their wings and span really fast… they reminded me of warplanes, hence this haiku:
Crows on thermals
Turning fast –
Warplanes of nature
